The city has worked with Pelican Township in providing
police services. We have provided them with these services on a half time basis
for a number of years. The contract is
reviewed and considered annually. The
city council at the February meeting approved the contract for April 1, 2018
through March 31, 19. The contract provides
for 20 hours per week service at an annual cost of $50,500. This relationship has worked well for all
parties. The contract was approved at the February City Council meeting. .
